The Multicultural Science Learning Community (MSLC)

The Multicultural Science Learning Community (MSLC) focuses on a diverse multicultural student population to provide a neutral space for those who aspire to become change makers in the scientific community. This community is open to those who actively want to work towards increasing the representation of underrepresented students in science related fields. In this learning environment, students will be exposed to tools they will need to succeed in their first year of college. In this community, students will have the opportunity to combine their passion with science, increase their cultural competency, critical thinking, foster a sense of belonging and community on this campus and thrive.
