 "Racial Identity Development for International Students of Color with a Focus on Asian Indians" - Aashna Aggarwal

Aashna Aggarwal (she/hers) is a doctoral candidate in counseling psychology. She grew up in Mumbai, India and then moved to an international boarding school in Singapore for the last two years of high school. After that, Aashna completed her undergraduate education double majoring in theatre and psychology at Middlebury College before making her way to Purdue! At Purdue, Aashna's research has focused on the international student experience, specifically considering race and racism. She teaches two sections of a course on cross cultural leadership, and provides therapy services at a private practice in Indianapolis.
