CCO Feature

The CCO wants to keep recruiters coming to Purdue to hire Boilermakers. Help the CCO keep Purdue at the top of recruiter’s lists by encouraging your student(s) to complete the Universum survey. Last year more than 1690 employers came to Purdue to recruit. Student’s responses to this survey could help us boost that number higher! Encourage them to take the career test at: https://careertest.universumglobal.com/s/18purdue

As a way of thanking them for keeping engaging employers and motivating them to recruit Boilermakers, the CCO is drawing prizes for those who complete the Unviersum survey. The 3 possible prizes are: meet and greet with infamous Cheddar the Corgi, a private study room in Young Hall with free coffee during finals week, and a free professional headshot. Students can find the link to the prize drawing after they finish the survey.

What students should know about end-of-semester exams

With the upcoming end-of-semester examinations, iIt’s important that students also are made aware of the academic regulations, which are, in part, as follows:

  • The final examination period is intended for the end-of-semester examination.  No examination or quiz may be given during the week preceding the final examination period of the semester.
  • Students scheduled for more than two final examinations in one calendar day are entitled to reschedule any examinations in excess of two.  Similarly, students faced with a direct exam conflict are entitled to reschedule either examination (University Regulations Part 2, Section I, B. 5-8).  It is the responsibility of the student to make the necessary arrangements with the instructor for rescheduling his/her individual examination before the last week of regularly scheduled classes.
