2020 Census is upon us! The Constitution of the United States of America mandates that each decade the federal government take a count—or a census—of America’s population. The Census Bureau collects data on university students residing in residence halls across the nation. More.
Think Summer
Did you know that students who use Purdue summer courses to graduate in 3 years net an average of $52,094 and those who graduate in 3.5 years net an average of $22,300 compared to students who graduate in 4 years! Registration for summer courses is now open for all students, and instructions can be found on the Think Summer website. We also encourage your student to explore summer financial aid options and apply for summer aid in their myPurdue portal.
Family Weekend 2020
When is Family Weekend 2020? - This is a question we receive on a daily basis. We plan to announce the dates for Family Weekend 2020 in late spring. When we announce the date, a save the date will be sent to all current families subscribed to receive our newsletters, a communication will be sent to all admitted students and their families, we will post an announcement on the Parent & Family Website and post on the Parent & Family Connections Facebook page.
Purdue's American Society of Civil Engineers Hosts 41st annual Bridge Bust Competition
Relive the 41st Annual Bridge Bust Competition now through photos and videos and see what all it took to bust the winning bridge! The 41st annual Bridge Bust featured 147 teams composed of 270 students from 19 high schools in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky.

Purdue Alumni's Senior Send Off
Spring and Summer graduates are invited to Purdue Alumni's Senior Send Off on Wednesday, March 25 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the PMU Ballrooms. May and August 2020 Graduates will receive their Purdue Alumni pint glass, can get pictures with Purdue Pete and the XtraSpecial, and they can get rides on the Boilermaker Special. Plus, they can talk with the alumni association about how to stay involved with Purdue after they graduate. Graduates need to register online for this event.
