Winter Registration

Winter Registration opens the week of Sept. 8, 2025. Students can view their Registration Time Ticket and access their Fall PIN by logging in to myPurdue and clicking the "Registration" tab. 

  • Time tickets are released incrementally to ensure no system degradation. Time ticket assignment is based on completed/earned credits in myPurdue. All dates subject to change.
  • Students enrolled at Purdue Indianapolis can register for an online course for Winter Session.

Ready to register for winter courses? Just follow these steps:

  1. Schedule an Appointment with Your Academic Advisor:

    • Log in to BoilerConnect and click "Make an Appointment."
    • Discuss your winter plans, ensuring they align with your academic goals.

  2. Prepare for Your Appointment:

    • Consider your winter plans, including having stable internet access, sufficient time availability, and potential travel arrangements.
    • Think about which courses you would want to take over winter.

  3. Attend your Advising Appointment and Acquire Your Registration PIN:

    • During your advisor appointment, obtain your PIN for winter registration (same as your fall PIN).
      • Students can access their PIN by visiting myPurdue, clicking on the Registration tab, and then locating their Registration PIN.
    • Discuss the courses you want to take, verify the prerequisites for your chosen courses, and have backup options.

  4. Check Your Registration Time Ticket on myPurdue:

    • Log in to myPurdue, click "Registration" on the sidebar, then select "Register for Classes" and choose "Registration Status and Time Ticket." Select "Prepare for Registration" and then choose Winter Term. After, your Registration Status will display.

      • Registration dates can be found on the Registrar's website.
    • Remember to resolve any account holds before your registration window opens.

  5. Register for a Course (Begins the week of Sept. 8):

    • Go to your myPurdue page and click on Registration on the sidebar. Under "Register for Classes," click "Scheduling Assistant."
      • Reminder: Students can only register for one 3-credit course during Winter Session.
