Tuition, Fees and Payment Information
- Payment from the VA (for tuition, books, BHA, general monthly stipends) can occur any time after the initial certification is completed by the Veteran and Military Success Center, but our expectation is that the first full stipend payment will be received on October 1 for the fall semester and March 1 for the spring semester.
- Depending on the Military Education Benefit, payments or estimated credit for tuition and fee purposes only may be reflected on your bursar bill before the first due date. Please note that the Office of the Bursar will place a code on your account to ensure you don't receive any late payment fees for items that are followed up on properly with the Veteran and Military Success Center.
- The application of credits to a student's account for military education benefit tuition and fees purposes relieves enrollment holds and payment timelines for the time period of pending payout from the benefit
- If you require any funds prior to receiving your first stipend, you can contact the Office of the Dean of Students regarding Emergency Loan options. Emergency loans are thirty (30) day interest-free loans available to Purdue University students registered in the current semester and must be for expenses related to ones education. Students who meet ALL eligibility criteria may borrow up to $1000 at a time and a maximum of $2000 per semester.
