7th Center for Analytical Instrumentation Development (CAID) Workshop: Instrumentation for Forensics, Nanoscience, and Pharmaceutical Science. Purdue University, Discovery Park, Bindley Bioscience Center, Center for Analytical Instrumentaiton Development. Purdue University, September 7th-9th 2014, West Lafayette, IN. AIM: To facilitate a hands-on educational experience for undergraduate students locally and regionally. To demonstrate novel forensic science techniques of on-site detection of illicit drugs and explosives. To expose students to novel instrumentation and the process of instrumentation development. Who: Undergraduates from nearly 40 schools in Indiana and Illinois. Graduates from Purdue University, University of Notre Dame, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana University Bloomington, etc. Attendees from the pharaceutical and instrumentation industries. What: Presentations, Experiments, Roundtable Discussions. 7th Center for Analytical Instrumentation Development (CAID) Workshop: Instrumentation for Forensics, Nanoscience & Pharmaceutical Science. September 7th 2:30 pm - September 9th 12:30 pm. Aston Labs @ Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. No cost but please register. Showcase novel technologies, expanding from analytical and organic chemstry to forensics, nanoscience and pharmaceutical science. Provide you the chances to engage in several experiments where you will gain the hands-on experience. Have you the opportunities to interact with the leaders in the fields.
