Arriving J-1 Scholars Check-In

Arriving J-1 scholars may schedule an in-person check-in appointment. Please access our Bookings tool or schedule your appointment using the QR Code.

 

Emergency Contact Number

International faculty, staff, postdocs and scholars who are currently at Purdue and who have an emergency situation, such as a lost or stolen passport, may call for assistance when the ISS office is not open for business.

Prospective or arriving international scholars may not use this number to inquire about the status of the issuance of a Form DS 2019 or Form I-797.

Please do not use the emergency phone number to inquire about travel signatures or lost or forgotten DS-2019.  Email your inquiry to intlscholars@purdue.edu and we will respond as soon as we return to the office.
