We partner with several academic units on campus that have specific summer experiences in their major and areas.  We collaborate with the other units to make the student experience the best possible.

Emerging Leaders

Join a community that supports your goals and connects you with experiences designed to help you grow from day one.   • Orientation Weekend Kickoff 
    You’ll begin your journey with a dedicated Emerging Leader session during orientation weekend — a chance to connect, get inspired, and prepare for a strong start. 
  • Speaker Series 
    Throughout the year, you’ll attend exclusive events featuring dynamic speakers who will challenge your thinking and spark meaningful conversations around leadership and impact. 
  • HONR 120: Introduction to Research 
    In this course, you’ll take an idea that interests you and “blow it up” — breaking it down to explore its parts and connections. Then, you’ll build a creative research plan using multiple methods of inquiry, setting the stage for your academic journey at Purdue.
