Mental Health Action Week Scheduled for March 3-7

The annual Mental Health Action Week (MHAW), a week dedicated to championing mental health, well-being and promoting a community of care at Purdue, will take place March 3-7 in West Lafayette and Indianapolis.

Featured events will include: 

  • Monday, March 3: MHAW Kickoff – Indianapolis, Boiler Park (Rain location: ET Atrium), 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    This event will feature a food truck, self-care bar, campus resources and more for Purdue students to connect, relax and have fun.
  • Monday, March 3: MHAW Graduate Student Kickoff, Purdue Graduate Student Center, 9-11 a.m.
    Enjoy breakfast and celebrated the beginning of MHAW.
  • Monday, March 3: MHAW PSG Kickoff Event - West Lafayette
    10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Memorial Mall
    Hosted by Purdue Student Government, this event includes inflatables, a food truck and various activities to celebrate the start of MHAW
  • Wednesday, March 5: Well-Being Wednesday, Memorial Mall (Rain location: CoRec Feature Gym), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    Get to know the well-being community on campus and network with fellow Boilermakers. Enjoy free Tom’s Coffee, yard games, campus resources, an opportunity to make friendship bracelets, photo opportunities, crafts and other fun activities.
  • Thursday, March 6: Mental Health Around the World, CoRec Feature Gym, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    Enjoy food, fun and entertainment while connecting with student organizations, cultural centers and other campus resources. This is an opportunity to celebrate mental health and connect with different cultures, identities and backgrounds. 

MHAW is co-sponsored by Mental Health Action Week Student Organization, the Division for Student Life, Purdue Student Government (PSG) and Purdue Graduate Student Government (PGSG).
