Cognos Landscape

Cognos is Purdue's enterprise level reporting tool from IBM. The BICC publishes packages to our Cognos portal which connect to various data sets across campus. These packages are often grouped by subject matter, so users can build robust reports that contain data from several tables that are related to a given topic. Examples of data sources which Cognos provides access to include our ODS live data as well as frozen data and EDW slices for the student side, and SAP HR and Finance data and snapshots on the business side.  For more information about the data sources, take a look at the data landscape page.
