CAUTION

Many faculty and researchers within the Discovery Park District have, in addition to their research Center or research Institution home, an academic department home. In these situations, faculty and researchers may see that there is a choice to be made as to how to work with PISA and request ISS support for a situation.

  • If the requestor has an affiliation with one or more academic departments, then they must utilize the PISA service structure for their primary or "home" academic department. Click on "Working with PISA" in the breadcrumbs above to go back to the main list of units, and then select the College or Division for your academic home.
  • If the requestor has no affiliation with an academic department, then they may utilize the PISA services structure for the Office of Research and Discovery Park District Centers and Institutes, as set forth below.

Please contact PISA directly if you would like guidance: PISA@Purdue.edu.

The request form for pre-offer immigration wage analyses should be completed and sent to intlwage@purdue.edu.
  • When to Contact PISA
    • The hiring manager and DPD business office share responsibility for contacting PISA about incoming new international postdocs, preferably as soon as the decision is made to hire the individual. It is the supervisor's discretion as to whether the year must be in the qualifying position or not; supervisors may consider employment in any other position within the unit to satisfy this requirement, if they choose.
