PMO has a rich history of helping students network and develop meaningful mentorships with alumni and dedicated supporters. We are excited to announce the launch of our own Purdue Musical Organizations community on Purdue Ties, the premier networking and mentoring platform of Purdue University.

“Our goal in utilizing [this] platform is to expand the professional development networking opportunities available to all PMO students and enhance engagement with our PMO alumni,” said Amanda Dunkle, Associate Director. “Within our community, we hope to foster mutually beneficial connections between students and alumni, but also to reconnect alumni with one another.”

Users can post updates, share resources, request professional development help, connect with a fellow Boilermaker for mentoring, and browse job postings. This platform is available for alumni, students, faculty and staff, family, business partners, and friends of the University.

“Purdue Ties provides an accessible and flexible pathway for students to take advantage of the vast and talented PMO alumni network,” said Kendra Burgei, a senior in Purduettes. “We believe this platform will help students establish connections and mentorships…and will be beneficial to students at every stage of their career, whether they’re looking for a summer internship or a full-time position after graduation.”
