The training team actively seeks applicants whose goals represent a fit with our program's aims, goals,and training philosophy. Purdue offers a minimum of 10 paid university holidays, dental and vision insurance. Each intern has their own office equipped with a computer, printer access, Internet access and digital recording technology. CAPS funds interns for two conferences (registration, travel and lodging) contingent upon ongoing University professional development funds including a diversity conference and the annual Big 10 Counseling Centers Conference. Interns are also supported to attend three joint day-long seminars with other Indiana university interns and an internship retreat with these schools at the end of the year. As Purdue University employees, interns have Purdue email accounts, business cards, access to library resources and discounts at local merchants. |
