"C" Permits
"C" permits for 2025-26 are sold out as of Aug. 25, 2025.
Eligibility
Any registered student whose local place of residence is outside of this defined permit boundary (PDF) from campus may apply for a "C" permit once permit sales begin. If approved, the cost is $100 per academic year. Vehicles must be registered for License Plate Recognition and linked to the purchased parking permit.
"C" permits may only be purchased online, and students must provide proof of their local address by uploading documentation into the online parking portal.
Parking Locations
Vehicles linked to a "C" permit may be parked in surface lot "C" spaces (i.e. indicated on red signs) only on the perimeter of the north and south academic campus. Some locations in which "C" parking spots may be available are listed in the section below. Note that "A" and/or "B" spaces may be included in the same lots as "C" spaces, but those with a "C" permit are only permitted to park in "C" spots.
- Discovery Park Lot south of Gates Road and Nimitz Drive intersection (most reliable lot)
- Lot northwest of the Córdova Recreational Sports Center
- Lot north of Ross-Ade Stadium
- Lot south of Dauch Alumni Center parking lot near Grant and Harrison Streets
"C" lot parking is denoted in red on the parking map, and locations may be added or removed throughout the year. Please pay attention to and obey all posted signs.
Free campus transit is provided to individuals with a Purdue ID.
Students may not drive or park vehicles on the academic campus between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
