Secure Messages

Purdue University Student Health Center uses secure messaging to communicate with you regarding your health care. This form of communication is part of our ongoing effort to improve services by providing a confidential and convenient method of communication.

A secure message is not transmitted like a standard email message. Instead, you will receive an email letting you know that you have a secure message waiting for you in your Patient Portal. You will log in to the secure portal from the PUSH website to view and reply to messages confidentially.

Secure messaging is used by your provider to provide you with general information, follow-up instructions and test results. Other PUSH staff may use secure messaging to communicate with you regarding upcoming appointments or when billing and insurance information is needed.

Accessing Your PUSH Secure Messages

  1. You will receive an email with the subject: PUSH Secure Message.
  2. Go to the PUSH website and log into the Patient Portal using your username and password. Please note this step will require an authenticator app.
  3. Select "Go to Message” from your home screen within the portal and find all of your messages from us in one secure place!
