Important Dates and Deadlines
You need to do a couple things before you’re ready for Early Start. Make sure you complete all the tasks on this checklist before they are due!

After switching to Early Start, it takes five business days for Summer Housing to populate on your New Student Checklist. Because of this, we strongly suggest you switch to Early Start by May 26 . |

Early Start move-in |
Families will receive move-in details, including timeslots and directions, about two weeks before the program begins. |

Start time for Early Start Orientation Weekend |
Orientation, which runs through July 12, is mandatory for students. We invite parents to attend our Early Start Parent Session while students begin their orientation activities. Goodbyes occur at 3:10 p.m. on Memorial Mall. |

Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) begins |
Early Start students are welcome to register for BGR which occurs the week after Early Start ends and before fall classes begin. If they do, they can remain in their dorm room after Early Start ends and before BGR begins. If they are not participating in BGR, students may return home for the week.
