CAPS strives to create an inclusive environment for all Boilermakers and we are committed to offering culturally responsive psychological services to all Purdue University students. We honor the multi-faceted and intersecting cultural identities of our students that are a source of strength and resilience worth celebrating. We also acknowledge that systemic oppression and experiences of discrimination based on these identities can have a detrimental impact on mental health. As such, we hope to provide information and resources that help students identify cultural influences impacting them, affirm their unique identities and share helpful tips for incorporating these cultural factors into mental health well-being. We recognize that the following resources are not an exhaustive list and that we will continue to add resources after a thoughtful evaluation of content that meets our students' needs.
