VISION
The Office of the Registrar serves students, faculty, alumni, staff, and external organizations in support of Purdue University's goals of discovery, learning, and engagement.
The Office of the Registrar is committed to excellence, challenging ourselves to be efficient and effective in our work, seeking improvement in ways of conducting business for ourselves and the people we serve, and maintaining an environment in the office and on campus which encourages growth, supports academics, respects people and differences, and promotes communications and participation throughout all areas of the university.
MISSION
The Office of the Registrar's mission is to make available continuously improving services through a dedicated and skillful staff and improved, efficient processes that ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all education records as they are defined under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
We provide accurate, timely and cost-effective services related to the development and dissemination of course-related information, enrollment, registration, grade reporting, and graduation of all current Purdue students and the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of academic certification for past and current students.
We support and provide liaison for the implementation, enforcement, and monitoring of the University's academic and administrative policies regarding academic information.
We work closely with all University departments in a manner based on the principles of fairness, good stewardship, and a commitment to excellence.
