Final Call Expo Session

Missed the Fall Expo deadline? There is one “final call” for you to present your work this semester! Carefully review the information about this session.

  • You can choose to deliver a poster or a virtual presentation.
    • The poster sessions will be held November 19 in Stewart Center 218D with two sessions: 10:30-11:30 and 1:30-2:30. Please see the guidelines for the Final Call poster session below.
    • Virtual presentations will be available from November 17-21 on the Fall Expo website. Please see the virtual presentation guidelines.
  • Virtual presentations will be judged for feedback, but awards are not available for final call presentations. Posters will not be judged.
    • Virtual presentation abstracts must be submitted by November 13 at 11:59pm to be included on the Expo site.
    • Poster abstracts can be submitted up to the day of the event. Mentor approval is needed before you present, though.
  • Abstracts will be added to the online abstract book after the event.
  • Space is limited. The Final Call Session will close when capacity is reached. Hence, it is important to submit the abstract and get mentor approval as soon as possible.

Submit your abstract for the Final Call session

Final Call Poster Sessions

Wednesday, November 19 - STEW 218D at 10:30-11:30am and 1:30-2:30pm

  • Posters should be no wider than 4' (48") and no taller than 3' (36"). This is a "standard" poster size and is due to the limitations of the wide-format printing options in WALC and HIKS.
  • You should bring your printed poster with you to the poster session during the check-in period 30 minutes prior to the start of your session.
  • If there is space and you have not submitted your Final Call abstract, you must submit it when you arrive.

Business casual for your presentation is encouraged, but not required. You should consider the Purdue Career Closet in the CCO if you need business casual clothing for the Expo or just to have in your wardrobe.
