Mentormaker "Rail Pass" Track Resources
The following resources are for research mentors intending to complete the "Rail Pass" track and earn the Mentormaker badge. This Mentormaker training track includes specific requirements but also remains flexible for individuals to select topics best fit to their training needs.
Mentormaker Badge Requirements
Upon completion of Mentormaker "Rail Pass" training track, you will receive electronic copies of (1) a certificate of completion and (2) a letter you can add to your P&T dossier, formal evaluation, academic portfolio, etc. Download and refer to the following resources (Purdue OneDrive login required):
- Topics List: The list of required and optional topics cover common and targeted topics.
- Badge Requirements: Mentors seeking to earn the Mentormaker badge must complete the series of training topics and submit artifacts outlined within these requirements.
- Badge Tracking: If planning to earn the badge, use this coverpage to track your progress. This document also serves as your "coverpage" when submitting your completed training artifacts.
Mentormaker Badge Renewal
A Mentormaker certificate of completion does not expire; however, if you need an an updated date on your certificate (for a grant or other purpose) a new certificate of completion will be generated at any time for any person who meets the additional badge requirements.
